Certified vs. non-Certified Buildings

What is a Certified Building?
- Building Code Requirements
- High Snow Loads
- High Wind Loads
What is a Non-Certified Building?
A non-certified building is a structure you can build in areas where there is no requirement to meet certain building codes such as snow loads and wind loads.
Since certification requirements can vary from, state to state, city to city and county to county, it’s your responsibility to know the requirements and to purchase a structure accordingly. Your local building department will have the information you need to determine whether you require a certified building.
Should I Purchase a Certified Building Even If My County Does Not Require It?
While you may not require a certified building according to your local building department, purchasing a certified building over a non-certified building from Eversafe Buildings may be a smart investment since it does provide better protection from all forms of extreme weather such as high winds and heavy snow. Certified buildings do cost more than non-certified buildings but isn’t that extra peace of mind worth the higher price?
